Im not bigging up SOF in any way as they do indeed sell some dubious items at times but as for their service,second to none in my experience and have been dealing with them now for around 20 years,never had any problems whatsoever. Was going to remove the post war liner that is pictured with it as its worthless but will include it if anybody wants it but am keeping the chinstrap. Just tried doing a pencil rubbing over the stamps and still none the wiser Im afraid but the batch number looks like S1890.

Shame you can't figure out the size. A 68 would be perfect for my cow head - 66's just aren't quite big enough :( It is a shame but as the interior paint looks as if it could be original the only way I could see would be to scrape away or strip where the numbers are which I dont want to do Im afrai...

Outside partially/lightly stripped to reveal many many coats including faint trace of decal?

Interior has what looks like original paint. Markings not 100% clear ,definitely a Q6? but cannot make out if a 66 or 68.

The rivets look like the ones on the Czech re issue ones you see around so wonder if the liner is also Czech?

The 1st helmet pictured is a repro as is your helmet Im afraid and not a very good one either.
