Bear in mind, half the Lugers produced for German use, were in 7.65 ( bottle necked 9 mm) That should widen the options.

Re: Swiss Army Mountain Boots
These types of Swiss boots are still available, on ricardo.ch, if you can speak German or French, or at least make an effort, and you can still pick up bargains at 70-100 CHF. Most individual sellers aren't in to rip-off mode. If not cash+versandskosten, then most sellers are quite happy to use BACS...

Re: Parkerisation
I would agree regarding Parkerisation, which can vary in colour, black, blackish-brown, through to orange, on flare pistols and late war steel cased ammunition. Apart from chemical composition and temperature, just adding dyes can give a colour change. Compare a Wehrmacht P08 to a heavily blued Waff...

Projekt Schweizer groBer Zelt
Probably about halfway in putting together a large Swiss tent. Officially, there weren't any standard large tent frames, so the army improvised with wooden posts, planks, zeltpoles doubled up etc. On another subject....... A combination of Touring Club Schweiz and Motorwagendienst, founded in 1936, ...
