Re: Elite Militaria - problems !!!
Does anyone have a current address for Elite Militaria Fabrications? The cell phone number is never answered and just asks to leave a message (which is never answered). Has anyone actually spoken to Nelz lately? I'd appreciate any assistance. I'd be happy to just get what I ordered. All I have recei...

Re: Elite Militaria - problems !!!
Seems to be the common thread with Elite Militaria. My reenactment group here in the U.S. ordered a German 80cm Blank firing mortar and it took 9 months to receive it. The Armor Museum I volunteer with ordered a replica StuG and it took 2 years and many threats to finally get it (and it has a bunch ...

Essentrager Food Insert
I've recently purchased a 41 Dated Essentrager. Unfortunately, it is missing the metal insert can (as most are). If someone has one for sale, please let me know. Also, is anyone reproducing it? I've tried the post war East German insert but it will not fit. So, any help on my search is appreciated. ...

Re: Panzerschreck rockets
Eberhard, There is a guy in the States that is in the process of making them. Not quite ready for putting them on his site, but I spoke to him last month and he will hopefully have them available by Spring/Summer 2016. Contact him @: Krautgear- www.krautgear.com Email:mroth@krautgear.com Hope this h...

Re: Kar98 Manufacturer
I have to agree with Saddler. pre and early war rifles were the best quality. After 1941 they started to cut corners in manufacturing to save time and money but quality was still quite good. By late 43 into 1944 more time saving proceedures were initiated. This included stamped bands and triggerguar...

Repro Panzerschreck
Hi Guys,
Looking to purchase a good replica Panzerschreck for an Armor Musuem I volunteer at here in the USA. Does the guy in Poland still make them?
I would appreciate your expert advice on tracking down a quality reproduction.
Thanks,
Jim

Re: I want a better pair of Luftwaffe gaiters, any suggestio
At the Front just started to offer repro Luftwaffe Breadbags that look great. Finally a correct color for Luftwaffe gear. I would hope that they are going to possibly make rucksacks and gamaschen. I've been using originals for years and none of the current repros come close. Hopefully ATF will make ...

Re: German shovel?
The bent over ears on the reverse side are riveted on German WW1 shovels. The British '37 ones appear to not be riveted. WW2 made German shovels do not appear to have "ears". The German utilized many shovels for all conquered armies, so we need to examine all photos carefully. Many reenact...

Re: Luftwaffe Breadbags?
I hope ATF goes forward with the Luftwaffe gear. All the Luftwaffe repros out there are so blue it hurts my eyes! It would be nice if they examined a real piece to realize the color is grey blue not the bright blue that tend to make. I have numerous original Luftwaffe pieces of field gear and althou...

Spearhead Uniforms
A friend of mine is looking into purchasing a Spearhead WW1 U.S. wool uniform. For those of you who own a Spearhead uniform, I would appreciate some honest answers to a few questions. Is his sizing accurate? Most Chinese vendors run small (like HIKI), so does he need to order a size larger then he n...

Re: dull luftwaffe paint for helmets
Pyotr, I've used 1944 Militaria paint for many of my repainted helmets. Since we are unable to get the paints from Europe shipped to the US, the 1994 Militaria version of Luftwaffe paint has been pretty good. Most of his paint has a bit of a shine. I prefer my repaints to look like they've spent som...

Re: My Field Division Pionier Impression
Your impression looks very good. I personally like the brown leather gear. I wear that in my impression. In 1942 there was a a big deal going on with collar tabs. Some transferred troops maintained their original branch collar tabs while others received the totally confusing versions that were Jager...
