Re: Ramcke Brigade Patch
The Scorpio patch was the tactical sign of the 1st Kompanie of I/.FJR3, not of the whole Ramke brigade, not even the whole 1st Battalion.
The 2nd Kompanie had a 4 leaf clover with 2 on the top right leaf and the 3rd had a sun device stitched on the upper right arm.

Re: Need some info about Ramcke Brigade
Hello
In most pics hard shell holsters are seen
They did use shorts too but, judging from the pics, mostly during "off duty" hours.
Again from photos you see much more the use of K98 pouches
Hope it helps

Re: Show off your reenactment helmets!
Later in the war FJ's where seen wearing m42's and army gasmask canisters. Actually there are many photos taken during the Normandy campaign, not only later, showing FJ troops with M42s, metal canisters, marching boots etc to support this. FJR6 was an exception (but not totally) because they were o...

Thuringen doesn't have a repro section anymore.

Re: Jump boots!any ideas on suppliers?
Very true.
The 2 out of 3 in my collection are period hobnailed.
To my understanding this was done on an individual level and was not an official thing.
I'd go (as I did) with standard hobnails, as Tom said but GJ hobnails are also seen in some period photos
