That is great news!
Questions:
Is the field cap available on Varustekela from you too? Would you recommend it?
Are the straight trousers coming soon?
In any case, well done!

Re: Trousers question
About the straight trousers only allowed for officers, I found this in Asepuku m/36: "The uniform m22 had both straight trousers and breeches, but only officers were allowed to use straight trousers, NCOs and enlisted men used breeches". So it was in fact for the m22, not the m36! :) Which...

Re: Trousers question
One thing I would like to point out though is the difference between units. Yes I think it's an important point. :) He is wearing repro german M40/M43 trousers in the picture, at the time those pictures were taken, we did not have a supply for trousers yet. Thanks for the info, I think it settle th...

Re: Trousers question
I don't know where you have heard this... If anything, breeches were more common among officers. You're right, i'm probably mistaken... Re: Trousers question
Hello, I have a few questions about the trousers used by the Finns (especially during Winter War which is my main interest). Here is what I know, please correct me if I'm wrong: -Originally the straight trousers were for officers and the breeches for the soldiers, but then (when?), soldiers were all...

Re: Finnish uniforms
Yes the profile seemed high to me too
I will wait for the availability of a better one on Varustekela.
But good to know that the side cap looks great! But this kind of side cap was far more common on officers than on soldiers, if i'm not mistaken?

Re: Suomi in France
As there was No French units in the Battle and that it was found in a old German position I would say it was one used by the Germans I was speaking of a french soldier of 1939-1940, not during Nordwind. But if we know this magazine was found in a german position, then it was probably german used in...
