Re: Inglorious Basterds
best bit hands down is just before the "baseball bat scene witch I have to admit was pretty grim. Donowitz: "you get that for killing jews?" (points at german soldiers iron cross) German Soldier: (pauses) "for bravery". I couldn't help but feel admiration for the German ser...

Re: Help !!! re-enactment
What all reenactors should strive for is an accurate impression of how it was during the war. If your unit involves women running round in dot camo with mp40's its not reenacting, just dress ups. Women in combat roles where they werent historically is completely ridiculous and annoys the shit out of...

Reenactors visiting german war cemeteries?
While looking at a few online albums of a normandy trip for U.S reenactors visiting cemeteries with a veteran , I thought: What would happen if the same was done but with german reenactors and a german veteran? Has this been done before, if not, Would there be a public outcry at this?

Re: WESTWALD/ARDENNES LIVING HISTORY EVENT - DECEMBER
This is a brilliant idea, sounds like heaps of fun, wee bit far for me to come unfortunately. As a reenactor, why limit yourself to only blank firing events? With airsoft, it is possible, in my opinion to create an immersion of a different kind, knowing that you can be hit. Just think of it, you're ...
