quick question,
almost all living history events i see in photos that took place in the UK, i see the public roped off from the displays and such, is there a reason for that? In the US we don't do that, Is it some sort of law, To me its a great idea, it keep the plebs away from the kit.
thanks!

Re: Stalingrad (1992)
it is indeed an enjoyable movie, but see if you can get hold of the original one, a early B/W film that the latter was based on, much better IMO Stalingrad:Dogs, do you want to live forever? http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/510ZQW6FB7L._SS500_.jpg Another favorite of mine is The Bridge (Die Bru...

Re: GMRS Repeaters
yes the line of sight is a good point, I would still like play with one of these at our next event, I'm not looking for something hi powered, just a watt or two enough to carry the signal a little further

GMRS Repeaters
One or two allied groups over here have started to use low powered repeaters for comms during tacticals, they hook them up to a 12 volt motorbike battery and put them up a tree, this increases the rage of the radios but they are being very quiet as to where they obtained them..
Any ideas?
