just a quick pointer for you , be carefull with the brian davies book there are a lot of mistakes and contradictions in it . however having said that there is some good stuff in there. the best way is as has been said above , go with someone who knows what you need and where to get it from. i did't ...

i may be wrong here but i dont think they ever issued an m36 "summer" tunic . all the denims i have seen have been late pattern tunics

very nice mate , these were used with the 34 or 42 in the hmg mode ( on the laffette ) and would look veeerrrrrryyyy nice next to my 42 :D
going rate is approx 250 notes but thats for the optics and stand alone so expect these to go for about 300-350ish depending on how badly someone wants them

sorry mate but i personally am not interested the rates for re-enactors are there for a purpose and that is so that we do not get used for cheap film labour and doing anything for nothing these days would set a precedent that other film makers would expect to be able to use.......sorry i have a feel...

couple of questions for you are you paying the going rate for re-enactors for film work ? are you covering expenses ? if the answer is no to both of these then i think you are going to stuggle to get anyone to appear in your films ( re-enactors anyway ) there is a going rate that most groups work to...

up to you wether you have ankle or jackboots.
its the usual suspects to get them from though .....SOF or underwood
the only ones to avoid are jackboots with toecaps they just are NOT right
