Re: Leuchtpistole
Looking good! Are flare pistols legal in the UK, or do they have to be deactivated too?

Replica Luger by ME
I've seen the 9mm blank firing model for sale before, but there seems to be a non-firing version too.

Does anyone know anything about this? It may have to go on my Christmas list.

Re: Surplus British Puttees of the '50s
Wouldn't the WW1 style puttees from Schipperfabrik be a better bet?

Interesting photo. Isn't he wearing Gebirgsjäger boots and puttees too?

I think it was SS Landstorm Nederland who had runes on both sides of their helmets.pzrwest wrote:Anyone have any idea why the SS guys have the ss runes on the left side of the helmets? The picture isn't mirrored as the sleave eagles and rifle bolts are on their correct side.

Hi Rudy,
You may want to edit your post so that there is a .uk at the end of your website address.

Looks like a solid casting, so I'd be very surprised indeed if the magazine was removable.dog green 1 wrote:Seems like a good price considering resin ones are being sold for £120.00. Do the mags eject???

There's a few on http://www.guntrader.co.uk. There is a Portuguese contract K98 in 7.92mm on there for 195 quid if that helps any.

Re: Film shoot
Nice film indeed, I can't help but wonder about the captured Mosin Nagant being used on the Western front though. Though I suppose it's possible in theory, it does seem a bit out of place.

Re: Looking for a helmet at mo, but blinded by choice!
Does anyone know if anyone is making/selling helmets that aren't massive? Not everyone has a size 61-62 head.
I know there has been some talk of doing smaller sizes, but I don't know if anything came of it.

Article on de-Russifying K98's?
I'm sure that there used to be a thread on here about restoring Russian captured K98's to their former glory but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Has it been deleted for some reason, or am I just looking on the wrong forum?
Cheers
