Looking good! Are flare pistols legal in the UK, or do they have to be deactivated too?

I've seen the 9mm blank firing model for sale before, but there seems to be a non-firing version too.

I think it was SS Landstorm Nederland who had runes on both sides of their helmets.

They do look the part in the photos. Does the cocking handle move?

Looks like a solid casting, so I'd be very surprised indeed if the magazine was removable.

There's a few on http://www.guntrader.co.uk. There is a Portuguese contract K98 in 7.92mm on there for 195 quid if that helps any.

Nice film indeed, I can't help but wonder about the captured Mosin Nagant being used on the Western front though. Though I suppose it's possible in theory, it does seem a bit out of place.

Does anyone know if anyone is making/selling helmets that aren't massive? Not everyone has a size 61-62 head.

I know there has been some talk of doing smaller sizes, but I don't know if anything came of it.

It's true, but then they used to call his grandpa Hans Dreiköpfe.

I'm sure that there used to be a thread on here about restoring Russian captured K98's to their former glory but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Has it been deleted for some reason, or am I just looking on the wrong forum?
