Re: WW1 british boots HELP!
The picture is probably too big.
Resize to 800x600 but before anyone makes the comment, this is not realy the forum to discuss British WW1 Boots on.

Re: WW1 British boots HELP!
If they are a rare pattern and in good condition no price for First War stuff would surprise me, especially with the 100th anniversary coming up next year. The old and bold here will remember a time when WW1 stuff had very little value and a WW2 Battledress had more value than an 02 Service Dress Tu...

Re: Where can I get a K-98k??
Ryton Arms sold out a long time ago and only offer examples now which they have purchased in from other dealer/collectors. Their days as the principal UK importer from the Ukraine buying in huge quaities and selling them cheap are long gone. Lol .....i was going to mention that....although they sti...

Re: Where can I get a K-98k??
http://www.worldwidearms.com/popup.cfm?p_n=511715&p_i=511715 Note by definition these would appear to Ukrainian imports the same as Rytons so unless WWA have been carrying out cosmetic works on them, they will be post-war refinished and not be original matching numbers. Can anyone comment furth...

Re: Generator
It will probably be a few months before I can get back to see them and I will contact you again then.
Are you familar with the different types of generator in this range. The layout of plugs etc differes a bit from yours.

Re: Generator
Thanks for the information and links. They clearly share the same mechanics with a few detailed differences including a larger out-put socket. Untill I get the oportunity to check the plates again I will not know for sure. If anyone knows the owner of the other and wants to direct him in my directio...

Unfortunately an 8 hour round trip to check and about £70.00 worth of petrol.
If anyone can enhance this picture enough to read it would be good.

Re: Generator
Not totally beyond repair as some are covered up better than others, but I would like to check they are not post-war before I aquire any. There is a similar one on the web but it has a gaugue and knob/switch by the out-put socket. Also presumably a source of spares for others if they are war-time. P...

Generator
I was shown a number of Generators at the weekend which were described as being WW2 German. They were released through a British Army sale during the 1950's but as you can see they have been stored out-side for many years resulting in their very poor condition. A number would have to be broken to pr...
