I appologise if I am wrong about all G...

Re: German Cigarettes ?
The inside of the packs were foil coated, well thats how I remember my Opa's and my Uncle's being! I think that John is doing very well in his German! We have been intouch, and I am going to help teach him! German isn't that hard to get a grip off, once you get used to the Ümlauts, grammer, capitals...

Re: Unusual collar tabs

Are there anymore of these out there? Love to see them!

These are easily bought from Germany, and because you pay the duty in Germany, you can import them into the U.S. Personally, I think these little touc...

Re: 'Zum Tuerken'
I have been inside the Hotel Post, and as far as I know, it hasn't any bunker system under it!! A beer celler maybe..but no bunker! Thank God, the Türken is staying, but still a shame about the Post, it's a very nice old hotel. I wish the Government of Bayern would stop trying to eradicate all...

A warm welcome to you comrade! I love your mountain pony! A very realistic touch, she is lovely! :) I don't know if you and the other Gebirgsjäger are interested, but have any of you ever been in touch with the Gebirgsjäger bataillon 232 at Strub/Bischhofwiesen, just outside Berchtesgaden?
