Panzer Lehr Uniform
I am having trouble finding information about the standard uniform in use by members of the Panzer Lehr. Did the PzGren also were the assault tanker jacket? Did the aufklarungs and pioniers do the same? do you have any references for more information?
Thanks,
Klaus

Do you have a German Dog Tag (Erkennungsmarke)
I am the Kompanie Clerk for a German Heer reenacting unit. I recently got a stamp kit and was asked if I would be offering stamping service for German dog tags. Is it hard to get your dog tags stamped? Feel free to send me a private message or email to infanterie272@yahoo.com if you have any questio...

Re: keeping warm in a slit trench
We always sleep in our positions unless site rules don't allow it (not often). Lots of insulation below you. A good bail of straw does wonders for several trenches. You can use tree boughs too. Place them upside down and carefully layered will give you air space for warmth and springy bedding. If yo...

Restoring Gas Mask
I have an original gas mask that has probably been sitting in the can since 1943. Is there a way to recondition the canvas and make it more supple again? It is very stiff.
Also two straps have broken, any recommendations on how I can fix them?

Re: Where to get: Rubber stamps, metal ID brick stamps?
How did you stamp look? Got a picture of it in action for us to see? How much did it cost you and did you also get a wooden handle?
Thanks,
Klaus

Close Combat Game Series
This is absolutly the best tactical and RTS WWII game available. A lot of you may have played some version or another of the game, but dont think the game has been over. A VERY active modding community has created many outstanding new versions of this game. After 10 years of playing the game I still...

Re: Axis and Allies (2004)
After a year of game testing for Rise of Nations, this game drove me absolutly nuts, especially since I could win the campaign game multiple times in an evening.

Re: Heer Pionier Impression
Uniform is no different than regular infantry, i think their badge was the same 'F' symbol but backed on feldgrau rather than the black of the waffen. Just dont quote me on that lol i'am probably wrong! Theres quite a few various roles for the pioneers, assault, mine clearing, bridge building, clea...
