Hello from South of England

Post by Grenadier1 »

Hi

I recently decided to get into reenactment, and have (after much deliberation) settleted on German forces.

I'm thinking of joining either SBG or Panzer Fusilier Grossdeutchland.

Funnily my only pieces of WW2 kit that I own are a German National Emblem (Breast Eagle, which is a repro) and early period waterbottle.

Hallo and thanks for the PM. There is quite a difference between us and the SBG in what we do/offer. I shall explain what we are about in a PM to you, and am sure a representative from the SBG will do likewise.

Best of luck in whatever you choose to do.

Hi.
I will pm details to contact the SBG.
Both groups have a lot to offer, its your choice in the end.
If you want to do Waffen SS or Wehrmacht.

Two excellent choices Gren1 - and as these two esteemed gentlemen say - widely different aspects to offer - encompassing bot W-SS and Army. Depending on your means dual membership would not be out of the question - best of both worlds - But commitment is essential = both groups demand a lot from their members - this is what makes them the best at what they do.

Wouldn't it be possible to be a member of SBG and Panzer Fusiliers GD with just a change of field blouse, from Waffen SS to Heer or vice versa.

All other equipment, save for camoflage, would be the same.
