Hi All,

I am fresh from the Victory Show at Cosby; what a fantastic event, and the level of detail and effort shown by the reenactment groups was staggering... as someone with a keen interest in WW2 stuff this was quite an experience!

I am interested in learning more about Axis re-enactment groups inthe East Mids area. Not sure if there are any, what commitment is needed, just getting background info at present....there were so many on show it was a bit daunting to know where to go next!

Any help gratefully received!

Tim

Hi guys, welcome to our own little underworld. Unfortunately this is an expensive hobby, but also a very enjoyable one, so don't let money put you off. It takes time to build a good collection of kit, so make sure you know what get for what you want to do and don't waste your money on rubbish gear. I've sent you both a PM with some info, feel free to get in touch.
All the best,

Most decent groups will be able to lend you most of what you need to get going and you can build up your kit from there, Most groups do events all over the country so a lot of events will require travel but you can usually hitch with one of the other members so not really a problem financially.

Welcome to our weird and wonderful hobby
matt
