Post by OttoSchimmel »

Hello! New member to the forum, i primarily collect german equipment and reenact german landser and norwegian w-ss.
I have just finnished a year in the norwegian army and have collected a long time.
I have a early war Gebirgsjager kit, and a norwegian w-ss Regiment Norge kit. I am also working on a photoshoot only officer impression.
I am currently working on converting a Moschvich 400 to a Opel kadett k38 for use in reenactment.
Otto Schimmel is my landser alias.

looks good, and welcome to the forum.

I would suggest you turn your e tool around so the curve of the blade sits better against your hip xxx

I always find the handle hitting my legs with the curve fitting into my hip. Was there a regulation way to carry it? For some reason I thought that the handle was supposed to be out, and not it towards the leg. I know the folding shovel was made so that the handle was away from the wearers leg.

Luftwaffe also did the same with the handle turned out, also told that it was to prevent snagging of leg/zelt etc.
