Hello from Minnesota!
I have been interested in Reenacting for over 20 years. I was the Charter Member of the HRS Unit "Nordland". I gave up the Charter to go and teach on Guam for two years.
I am presently putting together a Kriegsmarine impression. So any help would be great. Why Kriegsmarine? My father is a U-Boot Vet. He was a Tropedo Mechanic on U-805. He also spent 16 months in a US PW Camp after the war. He is now 94 years old. I have a couple of his uniforms and his decorations. HK II Class, U-Boat Badge, Black Wound Badge, and the RDA Badge in Bronze.
If anyone is interested, and doing the same thing let me know.
