Hi, I was reading somewhere about various units using engineers axes (ones with a hammer on the face oposite the blade) is this so and what units would use them, my old fallshirmjager unit had one and i picked up a close english version from a stall in the Uk.

probably most Pionier Units
It was a common tool for them.

will try and get a pic of mine this weekend, its not german but its the closest I could find, has a nice large axe head with a broad thick plate oposite.

alas google is somewhat useless is producing images of anything even remotly similar, so will have to wait till i can photo mine.
