I need the dimentions for a torn fu radio case, and a full size drawing of the face plate, especally the position of the various holes for gauges and switches. Can anyone help me???

I have this set behind me - it's the c variant (used exclusively by artillery forward observers). Case size, without lid, is 460mm by 400mm by 200mm. The accessories case is the same size. You can scale off the position of the dials etc. from the picture below.

It's not an easy set to reproduce as the fascia is heavily textured.

Case is 240mm by 360mm by 220mm. The accessories case is slightly smaller (height), but I don't have that to hand at the moment.

Just to pick your brains Dave what do u think would be more appropriate for a Squad size bunker / trench system EB1 or D2?

Depends on time period, area of operation etc. For the vast majority, a Torn Eb was used. Where 2 way comms was required, a d2 set would be more common. Radios could be reissued depending on the type of operation to be honest.

As with all things German, there is no straight answer!
