Hi !

I present you a replica of our radio station Torn FuG , made on the basis of the Soviet R105. The whole radio has been properly converted, from both outside and inside.

Great Job Otto...

Our team went the same way… Here some pics of the assembled “Repros” of the Torn Fu G (owned by two members of the 198. ID in Germany). As I said earlier - they are worling properly on a free frequency range, so we really use them during events

As I'm the "Fernmelder", I've the pleasure to carry them around during events - at least one of them, while the other one stays obvious with the "Stab" to "coordinate the troups"

Next project I'm (we're) working on is the Torn E.b. with Accessories box and "Sternantenne"...
Good luck completing your gear!

Kind regards from Germany

...unfortunately not - Chris our master in "metal arts" did all "on the fly" - he has not documented anything... :(

Autch... no access till end of the month - the Torn Fu chassis has a metric tapped hole (M10); the original antenna foot was cut of and a screw thread was welded instead. The "wrapping" is a simple pipe welded to the foot seen on the pics. Antenna goes through...

My promise - as soon I get in front of them I'll take a few detail pics and post them... in the meantime we get some more lable plates... to complete the units more and more...

Cheers Fritze

PS: my next event will be in France... just 200km to go - Ukraine, hopefully next year  :D

Does anyone have the blueprints from their project still? I am going to convert my 105D. The casing I'm not concerned with converting. It's the internals I'd like to get correct.

I was also wondering: Did these use phones? Or only headsets and microphones? I'm trying to figure out what parts from my 105D kit I can use.

Thanks!!!
