throat microphone

Post by franz20 »

Has anyone been able to successfully replicate the throat microphone set up? I've heard of others using post-war microphones but I'm hoping someone has had success in replicating this?

Already that's expensive I find, sometimes they are as low as €20.-!

Just need to know where to look and try all the word combinations possible, the cheap ones are often sold by people who don't really know what they have. Same with a lot of other militaria. I've been a drillich jacke been sold under the title of pyjamas!

I've seen the throat microphones sometimes (Never as cheap as you guys have stated!). I was curious as to how does one replicate the control piece that sits on your chest?
