I'll have £5,- on it being 42 or 43 with an RAL 7035 faceplate - I think the late war ones tended to be the lighter green colour (I forget the code).

Nice set, either way!

It's definitely a Kw.E.a and not an Lw.E.a as the latter doesn't have an automatic gain control (the 'selbstreglung' switch on the left side of the set). These were first introduced in 1937 and were usually used by goniometry units or with the 225W fortress transmitter.
