Radio chatter??

Post by Krupp »

I was wondering if they make a CD that has German WWII type Radio chatter? I've heard, via USA reenacting forum, that they have a Viet Nam type. Soooooo, I was wondering if there is anything out there for us, the WWII reenactor?

I have some on MP3 made by converting WAV files from luftwaffe radio traffic used in a game and intermingled with German signal words turned into morse via a converter.
Whacked on an iPod - played through a period speaker, does nicely.

ive got something similair for all sides, enables you to listen into british radio communications as well.
You can hear innocent messages about picking up someone with a car, and you can even listen into a battle, soldiers shouting they need more ammo and such.
Theres a sample here;
