The Overloon Military Museum a part of the Marshall Mathers collection
Very close to the city of Venlo about 20km is well worth a visit .
Set in a large indoor and outdoor complex , the outdoor complex consists of the tank park
And recreations of bunkers .
The indoor complex primarily consists of ww2 vehicles , tanks , small arms and uniforms and a b25 liberator bomber . Also there are many tableaux depicting scenes from the liberation
With aircraft , axis and allies .
Leading on to vehicle,s from Vietnam and beyond .
Hall 2
This consists of life in occupied holland , and the Dutch resistance , many many artefacts are here including a few chilling ones from " The Orange Hotel" near Roermond , a Gestapo prison and interrogation centre .
The museum also runs tank days where for a nominal fee you can ride several original tanks and vehicles
This is a great museum and well worth 12euros entrance fee.
