"It is the only complete Panther D left today. The Panzermuseum Thun in Switzerland has a hybrid Panther with a D hull. This tank was a gift to the city of Breda from Polish troops after the war. It was captured intact at a German testing ground and then put up as a memorial."
So we also need some petrol and a heavy duty battery.

Panther has a road range of 125 miles. Fuel tanks holds 160 gallons(fuel consumption of 1.42 gallons per mile). Then there's the ferry ticket from Calais to Dover, we can get it MOTed in Dover.
Cover it with a tarpaulin and tell customs its an agricultural tractor.

Is this the one that Mischa and the Dutch 116 cleaned up a year or three ago? If so Bryn's right - the torsion bars have gone. A fair amount of the internal goodies have been "borrowed" but it is a nice (non running) gate guardian.

Get 60% of standard dole to live on and then get burnt out by "patriots", who bravely wait until we are all asleep before pouring petrol through the letter box.

Are we still talking about a tank in Holland or are we being political extremists?

Back on topic please or the Dirty Dickie Delete Key will come into operation (i.e. the thread will be "tidied up")

Lets keep this on places of interest, we don't want anything said that could be taken out of context here!
