Yep, I just "won" one of those off of e-bay, or actually a pal did it for me, for like $12.00 not counting S & H. From what I see in the pics, they are nice canteens.

Would it be possible to put here some photos of Japanese basic equipment or give a link where I could find them ? I`m new in this subject and don`t know yet how Japanese gear exactly looks like. I think it would be useful not only for me but also for other people who start their adventure with Japanese reenactment.

Thanks for reply. I briefly looked through Your forum, but I couldn`t find detailed pictures of belt, ammo pouches, field bottle or helmet and what is more important, the types of uniforms used in Japanese Military. Could you give me some direct links to such pictures ? Here in Poland its really hard to get any literature connected with this subject, so internet will be my main source for a long time.
