More so when the veterans are with us-which happens when we go to Iwo, there are usually both American and Japanese vets the on the island for the 1 day pilgramage. On Saipan and Peleliu the vets usually stay at the hotel and cannot venture into the jungle being that it is too dangerous for them-and sometimes even for us:)
