Kempei Tai armband

Probaly a good question for Alvin but do you know what kind of lace was used to tie the Kempei Tai armband around your sleeve as i need to sort one out for mine.

The Chinese used a Chu lace!
I think in some provinces they used a Feng Shu lace!!!
But the Japanese used a (wait for it.... wait for it.....) Shiatsu Lace!!!

I gotta get out more! :shock:

All I can say is that it's cotton string with a "V" shaped weave pattern.

Also there is a cloth loop on the armband to secure a pin to the shirt...the string is just to tighten the armband should you have thin arms... lol
