Convalescent Companies - Genesenden Kompanie

Hello,
I am working on my Soldbuch and have some questions about Convalescent Companies.
Would a Heer Soldier who is going in and out of the hospital be transfered in and out of a Convalescent Unit with each hospitalization or would they remain in the same Con. unit (I stayed in the same Hospital) from start to finish?
What type of Convalescent Unit would a "Support Soldier" (Ordnance) be attached to? Was there a Wehrkreis Gensenden Kompanie or would they be thrown into whatever Unit/Depot was stationed that was stationed near the hospital?
