Gruss gott :D
Intresting post
Strange smock :? had it been patched/repaired using a different camo material?
If you want one yourself just get two smocks, one plane tree and the other
oakleaf pattern and swap pieces over then you'll have two versions
Maybe you could do different combinations such as palm/pea dot etc.

I have seen origionals that had two cammo patters in them, i am told this was to avoid waste so if they had a bit left over that would fill a gap it was used, nothing unusual in that and it certainly isnt funny just logical towards the end of the war when all things were in short supply.
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the crotch of the person who screws up your day and may their arms be too short to scratch.

oakleaf was developed only to be a background to plane tree! but as time passed they put that out on its own (this is detailed in the waffen ss schiffer book on camo) i find these to be the best camo because when you look at it you get a "depth" and it almost looks 3D

they were repros made a long time ago (stoff came from a bloke in norfolk) and sbg blokes have a bit of this floating about

Richie underwood has a original zelt made from this and it is woohooo!

I can only confirm this fact. At the end of war every available materials were sewed
together. Here is a nice example of an original winter trousers blured edge / oak leaf.

On request, we can do something like this as a reproduction also, whether Tunic, Smock, winter suit, etc.

Here is an example of one of our mix-patterns Zeltbahns.

Yes they certainly where von kit kat plane tree "Overprint" after the real plane tree they overprinted plane tree onto oakleaf as per the link you've posted, i also have a SMW overprint 1/2 smock bought off mr underwood a few years ago, it shows how good copies they are by how many are sold as "originale", there was a german bloke at beltring in 2006 who sold a smw overprint smock that had been aged, that sold for 3,000 quid
