A lot different. the colours are about the same, I would say is the dispersal of the dots and possibly the size of them.

Could explain why people have different opinions on the comparison. My panther sample is around two years old.

From the pics the new Dot 44 type looks "too green" IMHO ????

Going from original examples they seem to have a "brown or pink
tinge" to them rather than a green colouring, just my two cents worth :?:

Just compare it to originals. On the Wehrmacht awards forum is always a lot to use as a comparison. Next to that you can find here some different types of Dot44: http://www.germanmilitaria.com/WaffenSS/01Uniforms.html

In my opinion the Pirschen/AntZ dot uniforms look a bit cheap/wrong, but that may also be due to the photos. I'll wait to see the real deal.

we must conclude that the new dot from chen(colours),still can't match the dot of David (panther)

Howe about the fabric, are originals also made from a mixture cotton\linen?

My opinium is that originals are just made of cotton OR linen not both...

Eh, perhaps you should get off the internet and get a book, instead of doing wild speculations with no basis in reality.
Originals were exclusively (or close thereby) made from a mixture of fibers, with more than just cotton or linen. Any reasonably comprehensive book on the subject will tell you that.

But no, I don't believe that this new ant-z dot is as good overall as the Czech made product. But it's a great step up from the old stuff, and better than much other cheap dot out there.

No wild speculations, the originals i saw and touched were rough and smooth....
For me it's easy to feel the differnts in fabric.
But ok,that's just me...

The new Dot 44 from Ant-Z is made in 40% linnen en 60% cotton.

For the Dutch and Belgians who want to see the real uniform, i've got some in stock and will be bringing it to Ursel Wings and Wheels show.

So I can compare this to the other examples I have who can sell me a pair of the new style Ant-z pants in a 38 or 40 inch waist. Paypal and deliver to the UK in 10 days if possible.

Here you can see a sample of the 44dot pattern from panther.
It's a lot different!

It's a little bit preposterous to compare panther's jacket with chen's one
and i don't really like the chinese copies.
It's one of the reasons why Janke as instance don't want to produce his old dot.
There are to many people who are content with the chinese stuff.

Look at the sample and compare it with the posted jacket of rednas

Our newest Dot pattern (yes newer even than that posted 2 pages ago) Will have samples in a couple of weeks so will take more photos. Again I have asked the manufacturer to take off the shoulder loops and buttons. Nice colour, nice pattern and the button used on our latest tunics are superb. Will be posting more details of our other new lines in The for Sale section and the Northern Militaria section
