this guy occasionally has some nice bits and bobs, but does anyone know what this tunic is?

It looks like some kind of windjacke Les. I wouldn't say it was strictly military. The Splittermuster collar has been applied later and seems to be zeltbahn material. Indicating a repair of some kind.
The guy says the coat has a lining like a FJ smock yet the photos show it as an unlined garment....... Six front pockets..... Gerbirgsjaeger?
It certainly is an unusual or at least rarely seen garment and if you collect them, worth a punt. Obtained cheaply it would be interesting to own adn research..... it certainly looks from the period. I have a very nice civilian windjacke of the period which looks quite military......
Other than that I can't help. Would be interested to know if it IS a military item.
