Hello everybody,

I've received M40 tunic and now i'm looking for some help with insignia. I am going for enlisted man, so nothing special.

What kind of breast eagle should i apply?

BEVO on fieldgray backing or BEVO on dark green backing?

and of course what kind of collar tabs should i apply?

Generic ones or earlier tabs with green stripes?

Regards, Grega

An enlisted man in which unit , and during which period of the war ? In theory, all sorts of combinations are possible. ...

Well then , I should send your tunic to Richard Underwood and ask him to put on generic litzen and an M40 ( mouse grey eagle field grey backing BeVo ) breast eagle and do regulations . Alternatively, mix and match , you're not doing any particular unit .

Below is the bog standard factory-applied M40 tunic, what should be stuck to when aiming to represent the 'norm':

You would also be good with what silly people refer to as 'late war' litzen, the grey on grey version.
The HV40 B No314 specified those for use in May 1940.
