Simple answer Mark - Create one!Cookie wrote: Shame there isn't one like that for the French W-SS!!
With your knowledge, probable resources, dedication and the attention to detail you and the lads are known for - It should equal and better anything we've yet seen..... Go on - Do it!
I sat and went through this entier website last night - I must confess I had a lump in my throat when it sank home what the guys from Norge and Norwegen experienced. To see those remains laying where they fell..... saddened me to say the least. Every soldier deserves a decent burial.

One thing I have admiration for the US, they will always try and recover the fallen.
It always grieves me to think of all the men who have fallen in battle and there is no memorial to them. Not even a simple marker to show for their courage and duty.To see those remains laying where they fell..... saddened me to say the least. Every soldier deserves a decent burial.

Paul,
I've only just discovered HTML and URL's! Photobucket is some newfangled invention I've only just started to get my head round (there has been a lot of headscratching and scowling at screens).
I hadn't considered making my own site...
But that Norge site just shows what can be done, great stuff.

To be honest - you can get packages with ready made remplates or lift them from the net and adopt them to suit. The new black is .asp - take a look at new web sites..... more funcitonality or so I'm told.
Like I already said - with your flair and eye for detail I think you could make a cracking site. And if it goes tits up no one has it see it! GO on - have a go

Grrrr! I hate computer coding.
The defense of western culture and support of a European ideal seems to be a reacurring, and very strongly felt, theme amongst the foreign units of the W-SS. Not least the Scandanavian nations who, correct me if I'm wrong, had a morbid fear of the Soviet union and its expansionist policies. Just look at the Russo-Finnish war.
