Chen sent me an email stating he would make the XMAS smock but not for some time. I assume that one reason for delaying "new" projects is his recent partnership with Hessen Antiques in the US.
Time will tell, but I won;t hold my breath.

hi guys, sorry to bumb this up again, but I'm currently looking into a Decima Mas impression, as a unit that was heavily engaged in the war in Malta. Do you have any updates with regards proper reproduction of uniforms, including the smock?

I wish I had fresh information to share with you. I spent a considerable amount of time and money trying to put this kit together. My uniform is complete with a collarless wool tunic from ANTZ (no longer in business) and M1941 wool trousers from Remo @ Sartoria Equipe. All badged up and looks great. I bought a beret on Italian Ebay. I purchased a pair of Italian camo trousers from SMWholesale (in the USA) and had him leave off the thigh pocket. I purchased additional material from them and sent it a friend to make the smock with the patterns I've purchased. Well, I've been waiting for 2 years now. I am promised it sometime after the new year.....hopefully. He is also going to make the special wraparound magazine pouch for me.
Although expensive, Remo is now your only choice for a quality uniform. Expensive and you'll wait quite a long time but the workmanship is excellent. I believe Folgore Shop or Specialstore on Ebay Italy sell the camo smock and the magazine pouches. Again very expensive but they look excellent.
