Varusteleka.fi & Etulinja - Finnish Repro

Post by Peter Bauer »

Hello!

This is good news for everyone who's been waiting for these news for ages! Varusteleka has finally started to sell reproduction of M36 uniforms!

There were few problems with thee first patch of uniforms, but they'll be fixed in the next one (coming in less than a month). Now go and buy your own from the biggest militaria store in Europe and support our efforts of producing more high quality reproduction items in affordable prices!

That is great news!

Questions:
Is the field cap available on Varustekela from you too? Would you recommend it?
Are the straight trousers coming soon? :P

In any case, well done!

The cap is manufactured in Finland, unfortunately it's exactly the same price as ones made for us in china, so...
Straight trousers might come, but they are not number one priority at the moment.

Good news as I drew a blank at the Tampere show aside from a book and a pouch.

Will give the link some serious study...thanks

Seems like a good site, though no reply from them yet to my e-mail questions

They DID have the straight leg trousers listed for sale for a short time; now no longer showing up as either for sale or available in the future - so they may have dropped them from their stocked items list - a pity as I wanted the straight leg type. May have to go to the pre-war German pattern as an interim set.

I can ask my friend who works there if they got any or will restock in the future :) I know they have switched to another manufacturer quite recently. :) I'll return to you when I get a reply :)
