Thats splinter B bag pipes,

its a different material designed if i remember rightly from the med theatre due to its darker backing.

Its a little shorter than i would of liked it, thanks to tim showing of his chicken legs

Tom, as far as I know there's no "med" design, it's just another variation of normal splinter B

the variation is known to the collector world as the med design. Same as oak, palm, pea dot. Names all made up for the collector world.

I believe the difference between the med design splinter and regular splinter is that the larger portions of the camo on a med design are green with blothces of brown vs. the regular which has brown as the larger portions of the camo with blotches of green

I don't think there is a deliberate mediteranian design, it is just a mistake of the producer or printer. You see it sometimes with other camo stuff. The only original Med or Afirca design is the ultra rare Malta smock in plain sandcolour.

Last event we had a lot of people with original zeltbahnen together, the thing you saw immediately was the huge differences between al the different camo colours.
