Grüß Di' Kameraden,

Since Gebirgsjägers and Fallschrimjägers fought many battles together, I have a few good FJ books in my reference library:

2. L'Operation "MERKUR:" Les Paras Allemands Sautent sur la Crete by Jean-Paul Pallud/Editions Heimdal

3. Fallschirmjäger by Thomas McGuirl and Uwe Feist

4. German Paratroops: Uniforms, Insignia & Equipment of the Fallschirmjäger in World War II by Robert Kurtz

5. KRETA: Sieg der Kühnsten by Karl-Heinz Dissberger

6. Green Devils! German Paratroopers 1939-1945: First-Person Accounts by Jean-Yves Nasse

7. Fallschirmjäger in Crete by Jean-Yves Nasse

8. Fallschirmjäger Rgt. 3: A Pictorial History (Volumes 1 & 2) by Klaus Peters

currently reading Daedalus returned- Baron Von der Heydte

very simple and easy to read book,

i skipped the first chapter as the whole minotour and the mythology bored the feck out of me. Overall i was expecting a little more from Von der Heydte , but its a good edition to the crete adventures.

Any original manuals available? I can't find ANYTHING! What kind of paperwork was used for their training and their regulations? Dienstunterricht in der Luftwaffe has nothing on FJ.
