I'm looking for a nice early war Fallschirmjäger jump badge. Morigi only has the later war ones, Militaria-net don't advertise them, neither does RAU. I see SoF do them, but it's difficult to tell from their usual crap quality pic how good they are.

Our products will get an 'battlelook' treatment before they will be sold. Not straight from the box :)
Our last order was to complete an display scale 1:1 Pak38 with three men of the waffen SS divsion Hohenstaufen.
This took place at the Liberty Park in Overloon the Netherlands.
Please feel free to take a look at http://www.n-i-s.nl

Regards Rob
Am I missing something on your site Rob??? All I seem to be able to see are Sturm smocks. Even the SS M43 tunics pictured are Heer pattern. Is there somwhere on the site for the items you produce??

Preparing some GJ-FJ cross impression in the Narvik'1940 style. Therefore on the lookout for decent repro of FJ stuff in unsual sizing ;) :
- cloth FJ jump trousers - feldgrau - size 29/30 (or alternatively 58/60) - where can I get it? Sturm produces max 56...
- grunmeliert knochensack - I know Sturm is not perfect here but I'm gonna give it a try - anybody willing to check the measurements of size III for my please?
- early M38 helmet - feldgrau painting - in liner size 62/63 (61 is minimum).

any suggestions, gentlemen ? would be grateful for help. Thank you in advance.

You in for a tough one,
At narvik,

The fallschirmjäger wore the M38 Green step in smock with out pockets , and not the later M40 variation which had pockets (sturm).

There are 2 places which are selling the M38 , Lyndon and Gmax. Both are the wrong colour , but gmax is a closer cut.

Yep, very early war impressions do come with a bigger price tag. GMAX is the better in my opinion.

TBH, GMAX Knochensack colour looks completely wrong and unacceptable for me. I'd rather choose not to wear any smock. Or maybe it is possible to remove front pockets from the Sturm one ? Are those simple stitched on ?

its taken a year for me to get a HK keith pocketless smock which the best out of the 3 .

You would have to replace the area of the pocket with the same material, which you cant get unless you know Mr sturm and live on his doorstep.

Also, for narvik... I am unsure to what boots they wear. After watching Kampf Um Norwegan (GJ norway porn) , they look like to be wearing GJ boots with white gaiters.

Volunteers of 139 GJR were issued FJ smocks, helmets and jump trousers. Lw eagles on helmets were painted over with plain feldgrau paint on the initiative of ordinary soldiers.

FJ boots were not issued as those were scarce. There were reported some leg injuries during short training though, due to GJ boots slipping on the aricraft floors.

Nope, largest size offered seems to be 56. I've checked on their homepage and at some dealers.

Well, here we mix two things. I meant size of smock.

For smock, I need size of 50'' UK, which is 60 European.

For pants I need size of 42/44'' UK, which is 58 European (or 29 for short size).

For the time being, I found only Barry Lyndon producing pants large enough.
