Hi Fellas,
I packed in dealing with German FJ parachutes years ago,but one has come my way and its a rarer white/ivory one probably dating from 1943.
The lines (white) have been cut off but amazingly they are still with the canopy and 1 panel of the 28 panels ...28 is FJ has been removed but again remains so can be repaired...I'd recommend Kevin Beckhurst from the Military history workshop to carry out the repair,we worked together on the RZ16 parachute harness replica's and his work is excellent...
The chute overall is minty except for the removed lines and panel and has been stored very well since the War and was an American colonels War souvenir... he bought it back for his wife to make something out of, obviously it didn't pan out fortunately.... If interested PM me.
Cheers
Rob
