I bought a panzerschrek with it's rounds and though I would make a backpack round carrier like this: Comments welcome....

The Tiger1 is quietly resting in the basement lack of funds to buy a set of resin running gear has halted the production

After conferring with a fellow re-enactor reguarding what color the wooden box was painted
we discoverd that it actually holds 5 rounds not 3 so out came the exacto knife the glue and
I made a correct box unit for the carrier. It isn't attached to the frame yet untill I decide whether
to paint it or stain it. If left natural un-stained/painted it would stick out
like a sore thumb in the field. Might as well have a sign on the man saying "here I am shoot me!!!".
Here are pics of the revised carrier. Opinions Welcomed... Thanks

Update....
Well I stained the wood part with some strong instant coffee and it knocked down the light color of the wood. I tack glued it to the frame work to see how it looked. I filled the carrier up with Schrek rounds and put the carrier on a figure that arrived in the mail today. I haven't had a chance to do anything with the figure yet. Looks pretty good. Your opinions are welcome as always... Here are the pics.... Harold
