Re: Tamiya1/35th French Infantry set

Re: Tamiya1/35th French Infantry set
Oh...what was that date???? Oh, yeah, MAY 8th 1945....The Unconditional Surrender of Germany.
What was the name of the unit that helped defend Berlin in the bitter end??? Oh...33. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS Charlemagne (französische Nr. 1).
And who gives us the Crazy Horse Paris??? Oooo-la-la! http://www.lecrazyhorseparis.com/
Come on guys...we all have our ups and downs...
My great-grandfather, Gustav Schmeisser, was from Metz...served in the German Army during WWI.
My grandfather, Walter Schmeisser, also born in Metz....served in the French Army at the beginning of WWII and the DRK from 1943-44.
Horrido!
