Members of our group live on areas (Pomeranian region) where voluntary divisions fought their heaviest battles at the end of the war , so this topic is very close to us.

Very good photos chaps, just one point about your guy with the Charlemagne cufftitle,
these wasn't worn normally except by NCO'S and or Pioneers who had been on training
courses prior to being sent to Berlin 1945, also camo helmet covers were seldom worn by the
33rd aswell, just thought i would pass this info on so you can get your portrayal historically
correct.

Of course you are right Peiper, however photographs from this session are quite old, before we got to the information about which you are talking. Our friend relied himself then on this silhouette, such a small fetish of modeller  .

It would be great to take part in one of your events in Finland one day, unfortunetly we have no such possibility at the moment. But we are grateful for the invitation and we count on the cooperation and the information exchange :) !

Two more photos that I think are pretty good.

PS: Charlemagne lovers expect new crazy gallery next week  . I cant tell you yet what it will be, but it was inspired by memories of Christian de La Mazière and made in areas where Charlemagne fought (surroundings of Karlin).
