When I said "Smaller" I meant 1:40!!!!
The conning tower shown is actually 1:5!!!!!!!
So even that's not full size!!!!!!!

hmm i done a photo shoot on the u boat tower at bletchley
for those who dont know it was built for the film made by jagged productions (mick jagger)
enigma starring kate winslett
the film was made to challenge the american film that was produced showing the americans capturing the enigma.

unfortunately the "car park " attendant ....thats what we called him made sure we dont climb on it again
due to health and safety issues .............i called him a few names to his face .ggrrrr
one of the reasons i wont work with them anymore at the park until they change their attitudes toward us

the tower is sitting there rotting
they will not allow anyone to do anything to it to restore it back to its former glory
in my eyes it will be gone in a few years
as they seem to see it as an eye sore not an asset
i was actualy thinking of approaching them to purchase it .

just chopp of the ends and will fit on a low loader hmmmm ideas
95th nacht..attached 85th gebirgsjeager

have enigma ,will travel.

The group's first unofficial meeting was at Chatham Military Fair this morning. The turn-out was quite impressive (18+) plus a few other halves were there as well.

Our first official event will be at the Gunpowder Mill's VE Day show at the beginning of May. If anyone is interested in joining us then please pop along to Waltham Abbey and say 'hello.'

Cheers.

Funny you mention that....

According to a source today, between £1200 - £5000, depending on where it's being relocated!

Hi Simon,

We've seen that, thanks. They have a reserve price of 5000 euros on it (4000 pounds.)
