Dear friends! We are glad to invite all of the German mountain troops (Gebirgsjäger troops) reenactors to take part in the “Himmelhoch Front. Elbrus 1942 -2018 project”
The timing of the event: 14.08.2018 – 21.08.2018
The festival program includes:
1. Accommodation in an authentic historical camp
2. Two reconstructions of the battle for the Caucasus, in the foothills and in the highlands.
3. Acclimatization climb to historic sites of the battle for mount Elbrus in 1942
4. Attempt to reach the summit of Elbrus mount (6542м) in an authentic historical uniforms
