http://www.component-shop.co.uk -> Click on Batteries -> Airsoft etc. -> 8.4v Airsoft -> Top one

Damned fine batteries. Never had one fail yet. Plus, they're half the price of everyone elses :)

When you get your charger, they need to be charged at no more than about 240mA and ideally less than a tenth of their capacity, i.e. 150mA. The equation for charging is:

Battery mAh capacity multiplied by 1.4, divided by the charger output. e.g. a 1500mAh battery charged at 240mA = 1500x1.4/240 = 8.75 hours. Same battery charged at 150mA would be 14 hours.

Be aware that Airsoft mini batteries have the polarity on the connectors reversed, so your charger will have to have a reversed adapter cable on it.

Speak to Component Shop. They'll put you right :D

Thanks baggypants :D
The battery packs that these people sell seem too large for the MP40,
it appears i need one about 3-batteries long (sml batteries).
I already have a long type which came with an MP44 i bought,
any other links, cheers chaps.

There doesn't seem anywhere for it to go :?:

It sits behind the gearbox in the top. You have to take down the '40 by pulling and twisting the release button under the lower grip and pulling the front section forward and off.

This is a good battery to buy and I have used it for my AGM MP40 with no problems whatsoever:

Also advisable to buy 1 as a spare as well ;)

Think you'll find its NOT a component-shop eBay link as I have had dealings with them before and would never recommend them to anybody (BAD experience resolved after about 3-4 months plus they are over in the west of the country ;) ) My eBay link was for Vapextech who are based in West Kingsdown Kent and they have been no problems whatsoever. This is their actual web page link but they sell them cheaper on eBay for some unknown reason http://www.vapextech.co.uk/acatalog/airsoft.html

:)
