4th Kompanie 16th Luftwaffe Field Division - South East PA

Post by Totez »

Greetings fellow Airsoft enthusiasts!

Are you looking to branch out in the world of Airsoft?

Do you have an interest in World War Two Germany and the Average Joe soldier?

Perhaps you've seen such film and television works as Saving Privet Ryan, Band of Brothers, Enemy at the Gates, and others and want to live what was portrayed from the other side of the war.

Friends, regardless of what brings you to love and respect the Heroes of WWII of all sides, you all can relive and portray the heroic events and at the same time pay your respects to those who have fallen in the line of Family, Country, and the values that each man held sacred to him with a persona of your very own portraying the daily strife of the average grunt of the German front lines.

The 4th Kompanie, 16th Battalion Luftwaffe Field Division seeks to portray as accurately as possible a unit of World War Two Germany. We have no political ties to Nazism or the belief system instilled in Germany at that time, but rather seek to portray the average fighting man in the German Luftwaffe called the Luftwaffe Field Division.

The Luftwaffe Field Divisions were units of men no different then regular Heer soldiers (Average Foot Soldiers) that were simply under the control of the Luftwaffe until later in the war when control of the Field Divisions was handed over to the Heer commanders and the majority of Luftwaffe Officers of the Field Division were replaced with Heer Officers.

Poorly equipped and often undermanned the brave men of the Luftwaffe Field Divisions fought bravely and gave their lives trying to complete their objectives. These were honorable men and as such deserve their just dues as fallen soldiers in a war they didn't necessarily want to fight but did so for their patriotism toward their country, not their leader.

As a member of the 16th Luftwaffe Field Division you would be expected to gain a basic kit within or around one year to a year and a half and be as accurate of a representation of the soldiers you try to portray as you can.
