The only airsoft MG34 is the old Asahi model, which is partly made of plastic, and extremely expensive.
Thats a pity i have seen some sweet M60 machine guns AEG's its a pity they cant make 34's and 42's at the same volume and quality

Well - the ACM MP44 is here! People are buying them in droves and I can see CiA being oversubscribed very rapidly!!!!!! AFRA embraced the concept early - I'm the proud owner of an MP44 AEG and it's brilliant!

A late war scenario based on a unit who would have been issued with these things is very doable...... Volksgrenadiers got them and faced the Americans - GD got them and faced the Soviets........ the possibilities are there folks - I'm gonna talk with Chomley and see if we can't get a joint thing going at a top location somewhere this year....

I went into Action Hobbies in Milton Keynes this lunch time to have a look at the MP44. I was very taken by it, the weight is nice as is the woodwork, the overall appearence is good. After a little work with some wire wool and oil it will look the part. They have 40 in stock, so I will be going in tomorrow lunch time to buy one, they are £189.

One point that was not too good was the ratchet on the bottom of the magazine. However, with a butchered spair one it would look fine.

For those intending to 'airsoft' with it, the magazine holds approx 400 BB's.

Yes, it always has been. However, they are still being made at the moment.

I bought it at the Novegro fair ... 200Euros I paid for .... and the thrill to take through customs / over the border to Switzerland.

Now I have to make it useable with the help of this link.
Its in italian but the pictures gives you the idea how to do it!

Heh, we've been hanging on the rumours of an MG42 for 18 months or more. I'll believe it when I see it. In the meantime, we have to make do with custom versions made by clever people. My mate Chris has finally finished his custom MG34 - it should be in action in the next CiA event in January. 8)
