Unfortunately, the Home Office went charging ahead, turbo supine E.U.-mode, and tagged 'defective deactivation' clause onto Police and Crime Bill , which still has to go through parliament. M.P.s ignored any evidence at Committee stage. By the time this goes through parliament, E.U. Parliament will have accepted U.K. standard as equivalent. Home Office unZivil zervants need butts kicked.
