Well me and Paul went back over the castle today to check the site.
Very BIG THANK you to everyone for leaving the site so clean and tidy.
Rubbish put in skips or in piles in the field
Wood also left in piles and stacked
It really looked empty with out the displays.

I do thank you so much for a fantastic event, your organisation was
brilliant and all the re-enactment teams were great people. Some of
the teams were still coming up to us as we were packing up to give us
envelopes with moneys they had collected themselves.
The total that we received from the 2 days was £1947. This money is
already banked in the Poppy Appeal and available for our
beneficiaries. This a great total and we are all overwhelmed at the
generosity of you all.
