Sorry - but why are you even asking this question?
It says
Meine Ehre Heist Treue...
My Honour is Loyalty........

Hope this clears up any ambiguity.

It's a rubbish motto either way.

A straight translation is "My Honour Is Called Loyalty", which sounds too much like "My Cat Is Called Tiddles" for my liking.

OK, so the German language isn't as sophisticated as English but the TR, who usually had a flair for a snappy motto, really dropped the ball on this one by trying to kiss arse with a dodgy adaptation of one of Hitler's less polished scribblings - it was taken from an open letter in which he wrote: "SS-Mann, deine Ehre heißt Treue" (SS man, your cat is called Tiddles)

I think the least worst translation wound be: "Loyalty Is My Honour"

That's the one I've always favoured. These continental types put words the wrong way round in sentences. Duffers!

I'd agree with the 'Loyalty is my Honour' one, it sounds better, also the title of one of Gordon Williamson' books.

I'm tending to favour "My Cat's Name is Tibbles"

It has a certain relevance these days.

Tibbles is my Cat?

It would fit on a belt buckle.
